Coca-Cola / Coca-Cola European Partners Norge continues their partnership med SHE Community. To create change, we need people and companies with the ambition to move power. 

For this reason it is so important to work – nationally and internationally, with companies that inspire diversity. It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Coca-Cola & CCEPN continues their partnership with SHE Community. 

Brand awareness is – no doubt –very important to the young generation. Therefore, it cannot be appreciated highly enough that one of the most significant brands of our time is a part of SHE Community, a company that works daily to promote diversity and equality. 

Coca-Cola is one of the world’s most famous brands, and it is a company that has taken an active part in the work for equality.  Their VP Community Relations Lori George Billingsley has spoken about this particular subject on many occasions.

Coca-Cola was recently ranked as one among the fifty best companies for diversity in the world, and is ranked among the top ten companies in the US in regards to gender equality. 

Even in Norway – one of the most egalitarian countries in the world, we need companies willing to inspire change. Men are still dominating the board rooms, as CEOs and as leaders in the private sector. 

By committing to the SHE Index, Coca-Cola is committing to diversity and transparency. The SHE Index measures the gender balance in 80 of Norway’s biggest companies. It measures the gender balance in boardrooms, in leader positions – and it measures the initiatives that the company has put in place to create change in regards to diversity. Therefore, the Index is not only a report card on the current state of affairs, it also offers an incentive to the company to create change. 

Heidi Aven, founder of SHE Community, has one motto: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Coca-Cola / CCEPN and SHE Community are taking these steps together.
