According to World Economic Forum, it will take 200 years to close the gender capital gap. That is too long. We need gender equality within areas of business such as finance ‒ and not just because it is good politics. It is good business. Research has shown that businesses with a higher level of gender equality actually have better revenues. However, working towards gender equality does not only revolve around the numbers. It also concerns work culture, and it concerns the glass ceiling. This is why we are particularly proud to announce that ABG Sundal Collier has become an official partner for SHE Community. Not only has it joined us as a partner and pledged to be a part of the SHE Index, it has also put time and resources into SHE Invest.
ABG Sundal Collier is a company that is working towards having more women in finance, and helping women learn how to invest is just one of the many steps it is taking in working towards higher gender equality in an industry that has been dominated by men.
SHE Community is looking forward to the many exciting projects together with ABG Sundal Collier in the future. One of these is the SHE Community book about Investments, to which ABG Sundal Collier has already made important contributions.
To make a change, we need people and companies with the power to influence.
ABG Sundal Collier is definitely one of these companies, and we are thrilled to be taking these important steps towards equality and diversity together with them.
