TV2 has shown a remarkable progress the last years in regards to their focus ongender equality. However, they still have a way to go. The changes have been the result of an agenda stressing the need for equality within the company. TV2 acknowledge that they have to be as diversified as the society they are covering.

TV2 has publicly stated that they, for a certain period of time, would like to hire women in leading positions, until the company has reached more gender balance and diversity.

By 2022, all Management groups in TV2 shall have at least a 40/60 gender representation. This means that when hiring leader positions, both genders will be among the final candidates, and furthermore that the company takes an active role in encouraging women to apply to these positions.
